Welcome to my new improved Campaign Series Resource Center.

The goal of this site is to provided any and all resources we can think of which would be useful for playing Talonsoft's Campaign Series games. The Campaign Series consists of three games: East Front II, West Front and Rising Sun. In addition, there is a 'Mod' available exclusively at this site called "Hot War" which allows owners of EF II and WF to fight USSR vs US/UK/Germany in 1945. This too is supported with all the usual resources.

These resources include a full database of units (both MS Access 2000 and MS Excel), a detailed gathering of various game 'parameters' (rules, combat modifiers, etc.), a collection of what I think are the Web's best scenarios, 'opponents wanted' listings for both PBEM and Netplay, user ratings of each game's official scenarios, even a library where you can find and buy books relevant to playing the Series and substantially more.

In addition, this site hosts the Campaign Series Designers Guild. This is a group of people who support the Series by designing and or playtesting member designed scenarios. There are a number of resources and links available to aid in the design and testing of scenarios. Of course we also provide a home for the scenarios designed by our members.

I have also made available the ability for you to be notified when pages change. There's no trick, it will send you an email when I update a particular page you are interested in. It's easy to use and very useful I encourage you to use it. Also I've given you the ability to join the Campaign Series Newsletter. Please sign up and, again, there's no trick. The list is just for me and I won't sell it or otherwise use it for commercial purposes. Check the bottom of this and every page in the site for these two options.

You may be surprised at the lack of images, banners, ads and other 'chrome' in these pages. This is a deliberate design decision to get you the information you want, uncluttered by time wasting and distracting glitz. There are a couple of commercial elements though. I get a small portion of the price any books from my library which you order (or any other books you buy when you follow my link to Amazon.com). Also, I get a small piece of whatever you pay Chips 'n Bits for any Campaign Series Game you buy through my links. I appreciate any business you might care to throw my way, but I'd do it anyway, just for the fun of it (and the vast majority of this site is 'just for the fun of it'). So, think of this as the NPR of websites. :)

I'd like all of you to consider this to be our site. Please give me your feedback and ideas. If you want to chew off some of the responsibility for a necessary resource, let me know.

Click the links at the top left to enter the site.

I hope you find it useful,

Craig H. Foster
